Overview
The dual-channel step feeder consists of two independent sets of stepped lifting and linear feeding units, capable of processing two types of parts simultaneously at the same station or splitting the same part into two output channels. The dual silo layout helps improve supply flexibility, making it suitable for dual-station assembly, left-right component matching, or automated production lines requiring parallel beats.
Each channel can be individually designed according to its corresponding part in terms of push plate width, lifting height, material stop structure, and discharge track. Parts are lifted step by step by the reciprocating push plate; parts with inadequate posture are lowered to the hopper, and qualified parts enter their respective straight tracks. The two systems can start and stop independently, or synchronize or alternate feeding via production line control signals.
This solution can be used for fasteners, small metal parts, plastic components, and paired left-right parts. Depending on different material and surface requirements, stainless steel, engineering plastic, or soft contact surfaces can be configured, and additional soundproof covers, transparent protective covers, level sensors, and buffer sections can be added.
The actual capacity of dual-channel configurations depends on the part's geometry, individual weight, required posture, and downstream equipment cycles. Before project implementation, sample evaluation of two types of parts must be conducted separately, and error-proof logic, material shortage alarm, full material shutdown, and equipment interface must be confirmed.
