High-Capacity Step Feeder

The large-capacity step feeder uses widened silos and multi-stage metal pushers, suitable for storing and lifting bulk parts with large volumes or high single feed volumes. The diagram structure focuses on batch storage and stable lifting functions, serving as a front-end supply unit for entire lines, conveyor lines, or assembly hosts.

The equipment uses the cyclical reciprocating motion of the push plate to transport parts layer by layer from the bottom of the silo to the high-level discharge area. Too many or unsuitable parts fall back during lifting, reducing concentrated stacking. The height, width, surface material, and lateral guidance of the push plate must be designed according to the size and weight of the part.

This solution can be applied to larger plastic joints, housings, metal rings, and other industrial parts that withstand certain contacts. According to downstream requirements, it can be connected to linear conveyor, belt lines, vibratory bowl feeder, or robot picking buffers, and equipped with level detection, speed adjustment, full material pause, and audio-visual alarms.

Large capacity does not mean fixed storage weight or feeding speed; final parameters should be confirmed based on part packing density, target cycle time, allowable drop height, and on-site space. Before the equipment is put into use, it is necessary to complete sample testing, safety protection assessment, and interlock verification with the main unit.
