Overview
The vertical step feeder uses a higher stepped lifting section to transport bulk parts from the low-level silo to the top straight discharge track, suitable for automated workstations that require raising the feeding position and controlling equipment footprint. The illustrated structure includes an independent cabinet, operation buttons, and movable casters, serving as an independent feeding module next to the main unit.
During operation, the reciprocating push plate supports parts step by step upward, parts with unsuitable posture or position fall back to the silos, and parts entering the top are conveyed by straight tracks to buffer or distribution positions. The push plate surface, guide angle, and track cross-section need to be customized according to the part sample.
This model can handle washers, collars, short shafts, fasteners, and various small regular parts, and can connect assembly, inspection, counting, or packaging equipment. Optional material level sensors, discharge full material detection, speed control control, transparent protective covers, as well as start-stop and fault signals with the main PLC.
Hoisting height, storage capacity, cycle time, and noise levels must be confirmed through technical assessment. During equipment installation, casters should be locked, leveled, and space reserved for maintenance; Daily maintenance should clean the silo and push plate channels, and check the status of drives, fasteners, and sensors.
