TECHNICAL GUIDE
Selection starts with the part, not the machine. Geometry, material, weight, fragility, finish and discharge orientation determine which feeding principles are viable.
A vibratory bowl is effective when one reference needs dedicated orientation and continuous production. A step feeder suits long or heavy components and applications where lower noise and friction matter. Flexible feeding helps with part families or frequent changeovers.
Required rate, autonomy, discharge height, electrical interface and pick method must also be defined. Sample testing validates the concept before equipment is built.
