Stable feeding of clips, seals, pins, housings and safety components for automotive assembly lines.

01 / CONTEXT
Automotive lines handle a wide variety of clips, seals, pins, bushings, housings and safety components. Each part may require a specific orientation before pressing, insertion, welding, inspection or robotic assembly.
Feeding stability must be maintained over long shifts and through normal batch variation. Burrs, oil, static, hardness differences or minor geometry changes can alter how a part behaves inside the feeder.
Delivery must also be coordinated with sensors, robots, presses and test stations. The escapement presents one part, confirms presence and stops upstream flow when the downstream station is occupied.
We therefore review actual samples, rate, orientation, autonomy, noise, available space and line signals before defining the mechanical and control concept.

03 / STRATEGY
Vibratory bowl feeders for small components that need dedicated orientation and continuous supply.
Step feeders for long, heavy or contact- and noise-sensitive parts.
Bulk hoppers and linear tracks to separate bulk loading from the assembly-station cycle.
Escapements, sensors and PLC control adapted to the robot, press or inspection interface.
